"A dance album that is aggressively non-danceable, Tranzmit’s Ubertragung assembles the ominous drums of EBM with a barrage of found sounds and samples which wouldn’t be out of place on a backing track from the Golden Age of hip-hop. Jakob Rehlinger creates an audio collage that depicts the unconcious psychic space of dance music by stretching its constitutive elements into new, barely recognizable forms.
